Welcome To
You’ll find plenty of beautiful dog-friendly beaches around the Roseland Peninsula – an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Highlights include Towan Beach, Portscatho Beach, and Porthcurnick Beach. While Falmouth’s main beaches operate seasonal dog bans, there’s a perfect poochie day out to be had at the nearby Trebah Garden. Walk through the garden’s 26-acre subtropical paradise and arrive at Polgwidden Cove, a small sandy beach that fronts onto the Helford River.
Catch a ferry from St Mawes Harbour and discover the quaint coastal village of Flushing. Amble along the shoreline from Trefusis Point to Mylor Harbour, where you’ll pass small and tranquil coves as sailing boats glide by. Kiln Quay, also known as Trefusis Beach and Flushing Beach, is dog friendly all year round. We’re not far from the National Trust’s Trelissick Estate, which offers miles of woodland walks, open countryside, and a peaceful shoreline for dogs and their owners to explore.
